Reported COVID-19 Deaths:
Regrettably, we report 108 more COVID-19 related deaths:3 from Northern Cape, 8 from the Eastern Cape, 29 from the North West, 10 from KwaZulu Natal and 58 from the Western Cape. This brings the total national deaths to 2 952 with a mortality rate of 1,7%.
We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased.
The recoveries to date are 86 298- this translates to a recovery rate of 48,7%.
